Available cats & kittens

Boo & Jack - 6 months

Boo & Jack - 6 months

Boo & Jack - 6 months

Boo (majestic fluffy black with a grey stomach and tail) and Jack (all black with a white tickle spot) are a pair of very sweetly bonded young brothers.

They started life as hissy spitty kittens but have spent a number of months with Animal Support Angels and are progressing very well!

Jack loves a fuss and head scratches and will lean in close to your side, but he’ll likely be a lapcat with a bit of time and confidence. He has so much love to give and loves to sit with you. Boo likes to follow you around everywhere and is very food motivated. Whilst he likes to be close and sits near to you, he doesn’t really tolerate strokes at this time and will sometimes give you a bap if you get too close! He is however very curious and watches Jack intently.

Both remain a little nervous and need a home where they will be given space to be comfortable and safe. They are good with older children and love play and food. Both love being out in the catio and so will appreciate a safe outdoor space when ready.

Hooch - 10 years

Hooch is a hunk a chunk at 6.45kg! He’s a lovely friendly cat who loves tummy rubs, cuddles and playtime! Although he's not a lap-cat at the moment, he does like to be picked up. He can be found watching tv/playing cat tv on the iPad, drinking from the toilet or hiding in the bath ready to jump out on you! He's not a fan of closed doors, or bells & plastic. He needs to be fed before bed otherwise he’ll let you know he’s hungry by jumping on you and meowing in the middle of the night!

Reuben - 5 years

Bridget - 10 years (indoor)

Bridget - 10 years (indoor)

Reuben had lived as a ‘community cat’ but when he got injured from fighting he was handed into the vets as nobody wanted to pay his vet bill.  Reuben wasn’t chipped or neutered and had been living rough on the streets for years.  We estimate he’s about 5 years old.  The vets didn’t think Reuben wanted to live in a home so asked us to help find him a safe place to go.  He was neutered and treated for his wounds and arrived with me…I popped him down to our vets for a microchip and when this beautiful boy popped out of the basket it was pretty clear straight away he wasn’t semi feral…he promptly flopped on the table for a fuss. My heart melted and I knew he needed to come into foster so we could find him his very own warm home and a bed to sleep in…  write up pending!

Check back later for further details.

Bridget - 10 years (indoor)

Bridget came into care after her 10 years of life as she knew it, changed.

Despite all this, Bridget still has a smile on her face!

When she arrived she was naturally scared and timid in the new environment, but with time, patience and love she is flourishing - on her terms. She currently accepts cheek strokes - allow her to smell your hand and she will come out of her comfort zone and allow more strokes and will plop and flop in front of you allowing for firmer strokes down her back. She still has a way to go to fully come out of her shell, but she’s on the right path! A calm quiet house with adults or sensible teens would be ideal for Bridget

Other pets - we know a little of her history, she’s been with other cats and cat-aware dogs, so with a slow introduction this could be a possibility. This is not a requirement as she’s okay with just human attention - preferrably someone home a lot.

Lily - 4 years

Ace & Junior - 3 & 6 years

Ace & Junior - 3 & 6 years

Lily found her transition to rescue quite traumatic, and was a very scared hissy cat. As her kittens were gone not long before she came to us, we think all of these changes at once made Lily terrified and untrusting.

She has really settled down and come out of her shell since then. This beautiful, inquisitive lap cat is around 4 years old, but often seems younger. She has a wonderfully loud purr and a very cute reproachful meow when her food is due. She will sometimes even manage to catch her own tail while playing!

Lily latches onto you and won't leave your side, whether that's chasing you around the house meowing or sitting next to you on the sofa, she loves company! She loves affection, and will rub her little cheeks all over your hands and feet. As soon as she's comfortable she's a keen biscuit maker, and loves to find the smaller box she can fit in.

Lily would benefit from an adult-only household but calm and sensible older children/teens might be ok.

Ace & Junior - 3 & 6 years

Ace & Junior - 3 & 6 years

Ace & Junior - 3 & 6 years

These two bonded boys are going to make lovely companions. They are extremely playful and love their feather wand toy, they’re also a big fan of catnip and will go crazy for it! They love looking out into the garden and so will require garden access once settled in their forever home. They both love head and chin scratches, with the loudest purrs. They’re a big fan of happy feet and give their foster lots of head butts. Junior loves to sleep curled up on your pillow and Ace likes to sleep on your legs, so be prepared to be pinned down for night time snuggles! They both get regular zoomies too!

Sultan - 1.5 years

Sultan - 1.5 years

Sultan - 1.5 years

The Purring Prince! Sultan is a handsome 18-month-old with the loudest purr and shiniest fur. He’s affectionate and easygoing.  He enjoys a little playtime but is mostly calm and content to relax nearby — often in his favorite spot, an Amazon cardboard box where he likes to “dock” for naps.

Hobbies include: Daily zoomies chasing springs, Professional biscuit maker, Sleeping in his cat tree basket, Always ready for his next meal, Expert at squeezing into tiny spaces!

He’s independent but affectionate on his terms — not a full lap cat, though he’ll curl up beside you or stop by for the occasional cuddle/lap sit. He loves a play and can get over excited, so he needs someone who understands cat boundaries.
